Original-Odhner machines are classic examples of pinwheel machines, much imitated over the years. Originally based in pre-Soviet Russia, production moved to Sweden after the Russian Revolution.
In 1967, production of Odhner calculators was rationalized to just two types, the 1048 and 1049 models, equivalent to the 200 series 229 and 239 models, respectively.
The machines remained identical to their predecessors.

This particular specimen is sold in its original box with instruction booklet, in perfect condition and never used, therefore in like new condition, only the packaging on the outside is a little damaged.
